Fitting 190E Speedo Cable

I tried fitting a new speedo cable this weekend. I spent two hours fiddling around underneath my car... I've got cuts, bruises and plenty of gravel in my hair (from the driveway - I had the car on axle stands) and it didn't work!

I'm going to try examining this further in the next couple of days so when I do I will post pictures of the process as I noticed there were no decent pictures of how to do this.

My 190E Project

I've had my 190E for about six months now, up until now I haven't done a huge amount to it. I've replaced the air filter, valve cover breather hose and front brake pads. The car was built in 1992 and has a 2.0 litre engine with automatic gearbox.

My intial plans / things to do:

• Fix the speedometer (not working whatsoever)
  
• Buy and install a full leather interior (preferably Cosworth interior)
  
• Fit a genuine Cosworth body kit
